Marian Hosking has over 40 years of experience as a jeweller and silversmith, and was named in 2003 as a ‘Living Treasure’ of Australia.
She uses casting techniques alongside fine saw-piercing and riveting. Her practice is influenced by her love of the natural world and explores the meaning of place and landscape in intimate objects.
Hosking was the head of Gold and Silversmithing at Monash University in Melbourne until 2012.
