PROVENANCE: Private Collection, Oxford. Acquired from 'Lucie Rie Sale of a Lifetime', Bonhams, London, 17 April 1997, lot 195. Together with a certificate of authentication from the sale. LITERATURE: Tony Birks, 'Lucie Rie', Marston House, 1994. Illustrated p. 129 and 195. Show in situ in Lucie Rie's workshop as part of her permanent display of distinguished pots from different periods that Lucie did not wish to part with.
CONDITION: Perfect condition with no damage or restoration
