Geoffrey Swindell

(British b.1945)

Geoffrey Swindell was born in Stoke-On-Trent in 1945, and went on to study ceramics at the RCA and between 1970-1975 taught at York School of Art. From 1975 until 2003 he was a lecturer in ceramics at Cardiff College of Art. He works exclusively in porcelain and has been making his small, decorative vessel forms since the 1970s, with a focus on colourful and painterly surfaces.
