Maak Contemporary Ceramics Website Relaunch

21st October 2014

Maak is pleased to announce the relaunch of the Maak Contemporary Ceramics website.

"The forthcoming auction on the 27-30 October will be my 14th auction since Maak was established in 2008, and the last four years in particular - since the auctions were fully amalgamated with Maak Ceramics Consultancy - have seen business grow beyond all expectation," says Marijke Varrall-Jones.

"The relaunch of the Maak website has been a while in the planning and I'm so excited to present this new face of Maak that I hope reflects the high quality, dedicated level of service that we offer to our clients and the contemporary ceramics market as a whole."

A complete make-over has resulted in a new, modern and even more user-friendly internet presence. It has been designed for mobile devices-  thanks to its responsive web design - keeping convenience to the client at the forefront of the service that Maak provides.

The website includes a new Artists feature, with which we intend to provide a valuable resource about the many ceramic artists that we handle at Maak and a feature that will continue to grow over time. It will include detailed biographies on the artists as well as showcasing works that are available for private sale. It will also include an archive of highlight works sold by Maak either at auction or through private sale.

The result is a clean and contemporary look that keeps the emphasis firmly on the ceramic artworks and will become an informative point of reference for collectors and enthusiasts of contemporary ceramics.
